Genua

GENUA system- a fence with two faces. The stability of the land and the dynamics of the sea. The mythical Janus among fences.

GENUA is a fencing system which includes: columns, span, wicket, double-leaf gate (with mounting accessories) and self-supporting gate (with mounting columns).

The GENUA gate is galvanized and powder coated.

The gate consists of 5 crosswise arranged and arch bent 40x20x1.5 mm profiles, which together with welded vertical profiles 18x18x1.2 mm (length 60-930 mm) are filling the gate. The filling is welded to the frame made of three profiles: two 40x40x1,5 mm and one 40x40x2 mm (hinge profile). Thanks to this solution the stiffness and stability of the structure at only 18 kg is achieved. The whole wicket is mounted to steel or concrete columns using dedicated hinges..

Technical data of GENUA wicket:

  • The height of the wicket is 1450 mm and the width 900 mm (including hinges 936 mm);
  • The distance between the vertical profiles (18x18x1.2 mm) is 100 mm;
  • The wicket leaf is suspended on hinges mounted to 100x100x2 mm steel columns or to brick columns made individually by the customer. In the case of the variant with masonry columns, JARMEX offers dedicated hinges with a flat bar for bricklaying;
  • The wicket has plugs for Ø10 technological holes and plugs for vertical profiles of the wicket leaf frame 40x40 mm;
  • Wicket in the lock profile has holes for the handle, cylinder insert and plates.

Technical data of GENUA double-leaf gate:

  • The double-leaf gate consists of: left wing, right wing, horizontal valve and bottom bar. The single leaf of the double-leaf gate consists of 5 horizontally arranged profiles 40x20x1.5 mm curved to the shape of an arch, which together with the vertical profiles (43-1158 mm long) constitute the gate filling. The filling and the horizontal 40x20x1.5 mm profile which strengthens the door leaf are welded to the frame. The double-leaf gate frame consists of three 40x40x2 mm profiles. Thanks to this solution, the stiffness and stability of the structure is achieved with the weight of 71 kg. The entire gate is mounted to steel or concrete columns using dedicated hinges. It is possible to automate the gate hanging on both steel and concrete columns.

Technical data of the standard GENUA double-leaf gate:

  • The door height is 1450 mm, width is equal or 3980 mm (including hinges);
  • The width of one leaf is 1986 mm with hinges;
  • The door leaves are hinged on steel columns 100x100x2 mm or brick columns made individually by the customer. In case of the variant with masonry columns, Jarmex company offers dedicated hinges with a flat bar for bricklaying.
  • The following elements are welded to the right gate leaf: stop of the gate (flat bar 80x60x3), sleeves of the bottom bar and the sleeve of the horizontal valve and the profile of the valve 40x40x2 mm;
  • Horizontal gate leaf sleeves and padlock eye are welded to the left gate leaf;
  • Double-leaf gate has plugs for technological holes Ø10 and plugs for vertical gate profiles 40x40 mm;

Technical data of the standard self-supporting GENUA gate:

  • The self-supporting (sliding) gate consists of 8 crosswise arranged and curved 40x20x1.5 mm profiles, which together with the vertical profiles 18x18x1.2 mm constitute the gate filling. Vertical profiles 18x18x1.2 mm (56-1208 mm long) are welded to horizontal profiles (arches) and to the frame. The frame is made of 60x40x2 mm and 60x40x3 mm profiles (upper frame profile). A rail beam made of channel of 70x70x4 mm is welded to the frame. The rigidity and stability of the structure is achieved thanks to the use of 2 mm and 3 mm thick frame profiles (top profile of the gate). The gate leaf is assembled using dedicated columns (start, end and A-type column). It is possible to automate the gate by adding a drive and a toothed bar.

Technical data of the standard self-supporting GENUA gate:

  • The total height of the gate leaf is 1400 mm, the width is 6000 mm and the entry light is 4000 mm;
  • The self-supporting manual sliding gate set includes a hook lock, cylinder insert and handle;
  • The starting and ending column of the self-supporting gate is made of a sheet metal base (6 mm thick) and 80x80x2 mm profiles with appropriately prepared mounting points for accessories (e.g. top fixture, overrun basket);
  • The "A-type" column of the self-supporting gate is made of a sheet metal base (6 mm thick) and 80x40x3 mm profiles with appropriately prepared mounting points for accessories - guide rollers (and drive in the case of an automatic gate);
  • The base welded inside the "A-type" column is a fastening element for the gate drive (in case of an automatic gate);
  • The height of the columns is 1500 mm for the starting column, 1500 mm for the A-type column, 500 mm for the ending column;
  • Self-supporting door has plugs for technological holes Ø10, Ø20 and plugs for bottom gate profile 60x40;
  •   GENUA span consists of 5 horizontally arranged and curved 40x20x1.5 mm profiles, which together with the vertical 18x18x1.2 mm profiles (66-969 mm long) form a filling welded to the span frame. The span frame is made of 40x20x1.5 mm profiles (the upper profile is curved to the shape of an arch). This solution allows to obtain stiffness and stability of the structure at the weight of 25 kg. The whole set is mounted to steel or concrete columns using dedicated holders (decorative span holder).

Technical data of the GENUA span:

  • The width of the span is 2000 mm and the height 1250 mm;
  • The distance between vertical profiles (18x18x1.2 mm) is 100 mm;
  • The span has plugs for Ø10 technological holes.
  • The fence is available in a standard galvanized version: PN-EN-ISO 2081:2011 and powder-coated according to EN-ISO 12944-5 standard in RAL colours according to JARMEX catalogue.
  • GENUA system is perfect for fencing private properties.
